Fuel tank of stuck ship to be emptied - Collector

A ship trapped near marine national park Jamnagar will have its fuel tank emptied, around 250 MT of fuel oil from the ship's tank will be removed to ensure safety and pollution free environment near the only Marine National park of India, Jamnagar collector Sandeep Kumar said. 

The vessel in question, MV Jutha Pathama, was carrying cargo from Kandla to south korea, got stuck near an island bordering the Marine National Park Jamnagar.
