Jamnagar - Two newborn exchanged in G G Hospital

"We were exchanged when born", these kind of dialogues were often heard only in bollywood films. Well, Saurashtra's largest hospital witnessed an incident thanks to carelessness of a staffer.

A lady named "Divyaba" from a village near Lalpur was admitted for pregnancy and gave birth to a baby boy, during the same time another lady named "Divyaben" gave birth to a baby girl.

The hospital staff took the kids for cleaning and when she was returning the Childs to their mothers, thanks to the identical names of the mothers, the kids got 'exchanged' , later when the doctors came for daily inspection they exposed the incident.

This was not the end of the story, both mothers 'claim' that the child born was a boy, later the superintendent of the Gynecology intervened and asked both parents for a blood test, then the mother of a girl child agreed and accepted.

It is indeed a eye-opening incident, not only for the hospital staffers to be dutiful in their work, but also for the parents to understand that Girls are equal to boys in all matter, and disregard of one at any point in life is a grave sin.
