Jamnagar police Special Operation Group has made the arrest of Congress MLA Raghavjibhai Patel’s son Jayendra Patel,
This arrest was made in connection with Rs. 76 lakh coal scam,
Seasons Court recently issued arrest warrant against 18 accused
including Jayendra in imported coal scam case.
This scam was highlighted when Jamnagar SOG Police Inspector found out that 2 trucks with same RTO number were arrested.
Interestingly, Essar company who was victim of the scam did not filed
the complaint, this lead the Special Operation Group of Police to file
complaint.
