Jitu Lal offers water in Scarcity

In the time of water scarcity, farmer and industrialist Jitu Lal has come forward assist the administration in reducing the water issues of Jamnagar city. Jitu Lal has offered additional water for public usage from his farm.

As of now city is facing an accute water scarcity pressure, as the monsoon is delayed. Since 10 days the water distribution is reduced to paltry 2 hr per weekly basic.

Jitu Lal's farm from where he is offering the water is is located very near to Sasoi Dam. This dam is main source of water for Jamnagar. Jitu lal also let JMC use of his water sources in 2002 as well.

As of now, JMC says it does not need water from private sources.
