Jamnagar Weekly News Roundup

Last week in Jamnagar was full of social political activities, just yesterday A demolition decision was announced for 25 shops in Tar Mamad soceity, JADA announced this decision as earlier drive was not executed.

While another demolition in Jalaram Nagar could not be executed as the resident acquired a Stay from court.

The mineral scam from Bhanvad raised intense questions on the involvement of the Minerals dept. officers in Jamnagar department, citizens are asking what the officers were doing that prompted police to take action. Many are expecting an inquiry from Gandhinagar.

Yesterday Jamnagar Congress staged a protest against the arrest of Jamnagar Youth Congress president and vice-president, members were asking severe questions as to why Police did not act when BJP announced nation wide protest and were not arrested.

In Dwarka in name of infrastructure an ancient pond was buried, this ancient pond called "Rawal Lake" was dry and was buried with sand by local contractors, it looks like this piece of land near the Iscon Gate will be used for some 'Development' purpose.
