Looks like the road construction agencies found a not so healthy idea to get richer.
A new road is under construction along the Dwarka - Jamnagar highway,
the construction material used in this road is very suspicious as the
residents are compaining of eye-skin burning when the dust of the
material is flying ni air, recent un-seasonal rains have also diluted
some of the road patches and citizens who pass nearby are complaining
the feet burning due to highly acidic / toxic nature of the construction
material.
This material has melted in many parts and it us causing vehicles to
slip. Recent bauxite transfer also adds to more injuries and in a case,
one death was reported due to accident caused by speeding truck,
Will the authorities listen to public cries?
