16 inch / 400 mm of rain lashed Dwarka town on Thursday. Although this rainfall dashed off all long term worries for water scarcity, Dwarka administration was caught off-guard in terms of waste water management.
Since Dwarka was publishised by Mr. Bachchan as a part of Khooshboo Gujarat Ki, tourism is booming, this resulted in UN-planned construction and inefficient town planning.
This rainfall proved that the dismal town planning and mismanagement is here to stay.
